For this last month I have been completing my Yin training to ensure that I can bring the best Yin experience to all of you lovely humans.
I hear you asking... what is Yin?
Yin yoga is a contemplative and introspective practice that aims to help you fall in to a parasympathetic state. During the practice you will hold poses for 3-5 minutes. The aim of this is to target the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascia networks of the body and the meridians. Unlike your Yang/ Vinyasa practice that so many of you are used to these classes ask you to be largely passive in your holds.
The reason that I am so excited to bring these classes to you is that I feel like it is a perfect addition to the go-go lives that we all lead. Theses classes will provide a rare hour in your day where you are not having to move or do or think but instead can just be.
The first class is this coming Thursday- 09/11/2023 and it is already booking up.
