FAQ- Rocket

Do I need to bring my own mat?

I will provide mats and blocks for all classes although I welcome you to bring your own mats to class if you prefer to practice on these.

What is the difference between Rocket and Vinyasa

Rocket is based upon the ashtanga sequence. There are 3 set sequences within Rocket, although as these sequences are a minimum of 90 minutes they are adapted to a 60 minute class. The set sequence allows students to become familiar with the assanas (posses). My Vinyasa classes do not follow this same structure and there will be a greater variety from class to class.

Is this a challenging class to attend?

Rocket can be described as a strong and at times a faster paced class, although ultimately any class is what you make of it. I will give options for regressions and progressions of assanas and i will leave it up to you to take the option that best suits how you feel in the moment.

What if i cant do headstands or arm balances ?

Everyone in my classes are at different stages of their yoga journey, there will be options to explore the world upside down but you most definitely do not have to take these options. Wobbles, falls and giggles and very very welcome, taking a child pose is also welcome. This is your practice, I am just guiding you.
